Charles Luther Sipe (1898-1983) worked in the oil fields in Salt Lake. Charles Luther Sipe was born 8 August 1898 in Adams County, Pennsylvania, to Asbury Derland Sipe and Carrie May Chronister. He was raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and later homesteaded in Wyoming with his mother. Mary Ann Jones Black was born 14 March 1895 in Pacheco, Galeana, Chihuahua, Mexico to Eva Minerva Black and James William Palmer. She first married Marvin Willard Jones on 6 February 1913 in San Juan, Colorado. They had 13 children. Mary next married Chester Allen Black 17 March 1967 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah.
